How to work with Frankincense…

  • Rejuvenating for all skin types. Wounds – especially slow to heal

Fragrance

Frankincense is characterised by a sweet, spicy, and resinous scent with a fresh, peppery, and slightly camphoraceous top note.

To harvest the essential oil, the bark of the tree is incised to release an oleo-gum resin. The resin solidifies into amber-coloured lumps and is collected carefully to avoid harming the tree. The resin is then steam-distilled to produce the essential oil.
